What is Panchakarma Treatment?

Panchakarma cleanses and rejuvenates according to Ayurvedic principles. Every person is understood through the five elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.

These elements combine as the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. When the individual doshic balance is disturbed, disorder appears. The treatment plan is therefore personalized.

Authentic Panchakarma begins with preparation, continues with selected cleansing therapies, and ends with careful rehabilitation.

The Three Phases of Panchakarma

A full program has preparation, cleansing, and rehabilitation. Each phase protects the therapeutic result.

01
Pre-Purification Preparation

Purvakarma

The body is prepared with Snehan and Svedana. These soften tissues, loosen accumulated toxins, and move them toward the digestive tract for elimination.

02
The Five Main Treatments

Pradhana Karma

The main Shodhana therapies are selected according to constitution, disease, strength, season, and physician assessment. Not every patient needs all five.

03
Post-Treatment Rehabilitation

Paschatkarma

A gradual return to diet and activity consolidates the benefit. This phase includes diet, herbs, lifestyle changes, and follow-up.
